If it had been your heart you would have felt an agonising pain in the centre. Your temperature would have climbed and your shoulders would have ached as if someone was knocking nails into them.
I hesitate to say this but the answer coujld be something as simple as trapped wind. Have you ever seen a baby scream in pain? That’s what wind can do.
Keep off the cigarettes, if you smoke. Watch your diet by cutting down on fat. Get plenty of exercise. You should be putting questions on Yahoo when you are 99!
    Best wishes!

    not always but usually.

if you had a huge heart attack that stunned/killed most of your functioning heart muscle, your blood pressure may be normal or low.

if you have a small to medium heart attack, the rest of the heart typically pumps harder trying to get blood to the dying heart muscle–thus your BP is usually elevated.

That being said, Unless you went to an ED in the middle of africa or somewhere else really backward, im sure the ED you went to did blood tests for heart enzymes to determine if you had an actual heart attack. So believe them when they say that you didnt.

Chest X rays really cant give a good look at the heart. You should do a follow up with your doctor. Maybe ask to take a stress test.
