First look into Qigong ( also spelled Chi Kung) this is excellent for lowering blood pressure. You can look into trying yoga. Also do a search on organic apple cider vinegar. This stuff is awesome, cheap, and kicks high blood pressure in the a*s.
Cut out salt, MSG.
Eat more vegetables and fruits, flaxseed, almond nuts. Fruits contain potassium which can lower blood pressure.
Celery may help.
Relaxation exercises do help.
Go for walks, runs, aerobic exercise and swims.
Reduce the stress in his life.
