Exercise can lower blood pressure. I would suggest take it easy at first for like a month just start walking, also to help cut out most of the salt out of your diet and eat more veggies, it will all help and when your pressure goes down bump the walking up to running or jogging.
This is a question for a doctor…exercise is good for lowering blood pressure so is a careful diet but there are things to be considered and only a doctor can tell you for sure. One thing that will help a great deal is one of those wrist blood pressure gages..they cost about $30 and you should keep a record of your morning pressure readings as well as at other times of day….good luck. High blood pressure can be controlled!!!
