    Alavert and claritin won’t raise blood pressure, but decongestants like sudafed will. Meditation is good for stress, but so is the exercise. Sounds like you’re on the right track, though, good luck!

    Yoga…or meditation. Do you own a pet? Sitting with your pet, loving it (petting), watching your fish swim in a fish tank…listening to some quiet peaceful music…

    I honestly think you are off to a good start. Keep up the program and I’m sure you will see results. The big picture depends on you staying with a healthy program. And if you still have to go on meds to control the blood pressure – so be it – but still STAY WITH THE HEALTHY PROGRAM!

    It sounds like you are doing all that you can. Keep up the good work and when you go back to the doc if your pressure is not down, you may have to take a diuretic or even a mild antihypertensive. I think it is wonderful that you are acutally trying to fix the problem with healthy living, most people would rather just take a pill! Keep up the good work!
