ACE inhibitors (what lasinopril is) usually don&#039;t have many side effects except for leg and arm swelling, cough or difficulty breathing.  Apparently you must have high bp if you&#039;re only 19 and on bp meds.  I hope you didn&#039;t take yourself of the med and that your doctor did so prescribing you something else.  You should be on the med and have your doctor prescribe you a safe exercise program for you.  What is the reason that you have high blood pressure.  Are you overweight?  If yes, then diet and exercise will get you off the meds if you lose weight and exercise and have a low sodium diet (500 mg per DAY).</description>
